Don't Miss the EGAPL Hound Hike This Sunday

Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless Animals to Take Place 9/27 at Goddard Park

The East Greenwich Animal Protection League’s (EGAPL) 19th annual Hound Hike fundraiser will take place Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm with registration in the carousel/beach area. The event has become a tradition for animal lovers, adopters and families from around the community alike and is EGAPL’s largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds going to provide shelter, food and medical care of animals awaiting adoption and to enable the organization to continue saving more lives.

Local vendors will also be on hand with samples of pet-related treats and information. Music, raffles, and a free lunch will also be provided as part of this fun-filled day for a great cause. Fee per hiker $25.00; participants can register the day of the event or download a registration form at
www.egapl.org/houndhike.

Registration begins at 12:00 pm and the 2-mile walk starts at 1:00 pm. Walkers are welcome to bring their own dogs; all dogs must be leashed, healthy and up to date on all vaccines.

Can’t go? You can still make a donation via EGAPL’s website at www.egapl.org. Contributions of any size are greatly appreciated!
