East Greenwich Animal Protection League Gets Extension on Lease
Volunteers needed to help with care of animals

Following the tremendous amount of community and media support, the owners of the East Greenwich Animal Hospital building at 4302 Post Road in Warwick have reconsidered and offered East Greenwich Animal Protection League a temporary month-to-month extension on their lease.
EGAPL is tremendously grateful for everyone who has taken an interest in their plight and for the hundreds of adoption applications that they received last weekend, which are currently being reviewed.
Though the league is renting the space, the building on Post Road in East Greenwich is currently up for sale, and the lease includes a clause that would give EGAPL a 30 day notice when they need to vacate. EGAPL is still in need of a permanent solution and has launched a capital campaign in hopes of raising enough money to purchase its own building soon.

There is no longer kennel staff provided by the animal hospital so EGAPL is in need of more volunteers to help provide care to its animals. Anyone interested in volunteering can email karenskerry@cox.net or EGAPLevents@gmail.com for more info,
Adoption hours will be held on Friday, 4/10 from 12-6pm, Saturday, 4/11, from 12-2pm, Sunday, 4/12, from 10:30-1pm. More updates will be posted on Facebook soon!
