EG Democrats Endorse Bristol, Dhuri, Schwager for Town Council

Campaign 2016 is off and running! Endorsed Democrats declare for Town Council

Campaign 2016 is off and running, and the E.G. Town Democratic Committee endorsed Yash Dhuri, Patrick Bristol and Mark Schwager for the Town Council.

Dhuri is an East Greenwich High School Graduate, attending URI. He has a strong interest in government, politics and public service. Dhuri says “although my age may surprise some, I hope that people will recognize that I offer energy and a new perspective to town government.”

Bristol, a lifelong East Greenwich resident, is on the boards of the East Greenwich Little League and the East Greenwich Soccer Association and is now expanding his involvement to town government. Bristol says, “East Greenwich has been a wonderful community for me and my family, I’m excited to contribute to EG’s continuing prosperity.”

Schwager, a practicing physician, medical executive and town resident for 22 years, currently serves on the Town Council and has previously served on the East Greenwich Board of Fire Commissioners, the East Greenwich Planning Board and the East Greenwich Municipal Land Trust. “I love living in this community and being active in town government trying to maintain and improve on our Town’s quality of life,” Schwager said.

Over the coming months, Dhuri, Bristol and Schwager will be out in the community, participating in political events, knocking on doors and talking with residents to get their opinions. Says Schwager, “We’re dedicated to this community and will work hard as members of the Town Council to stand up for our families, schools and businesses.”
