EG Writer to Sign Copies of Debut Novel at Symposium Books

East Greenwich’s John Butziger will be at Symposium Books Sept. 20 for an author’s event during which he’ll sign copies of his debut novel, The Second Tree and give a select reading from the action triller.

Butziger will be on hand at the book store, located at 1000 Division Road in East Greenwich Square, from 1 to 2 p.m.

By day, Butziger is a senior program director at STD MED in Massachusetts, is a partner and board member of an advertising technology and firm and father of three.

When he’s not working, traveling, fishing, or spending time with his family, Butziger has been writing and The Second Tree is his first published work that tells a story of two friends, a freak accident in Uganda and the discovery of something that is “nothing less than miraculous — but miracles can be deadly.”
