A silent and live auction to benefit the church's annual Volunteers in Mission (VIM) Trip. Funds raised will send a work team of high school youth and adults to John's Island, South Carolina. The purpose of the trip is to repair homes for individuals in need and the money raised purchases building materials and covers travel expenses for those who participate. Last year's auction raised over $14,000 and enable the Volunteers in Mission to help at three work sites.
The evening begins with a silent auction at 6:00 pm and complimentary light meal of soup, sandwiches and desserts. The live auction will begin at 7:00 pm. There is something for everybody and every budget. We welcome the community to enjoy a fun night supporting a worthy cause.
Some items for auction include: 5 days at a Narragansett Beach House, Red Sox tickets, an iPod Touch, Kerruig Platinum coffee maker set, cocktail party with live entertainment, American Girl Doll, Meals for a Month, Dessert of the Month, custom brewed beer, Pig Roast for 40 guests, passes to family attractions (Storyland, WaterWizz, Adventureland, Six Flags, Paw Sox), gift certificates to local merchants and much much more!
