If you like beer, then you'll love this event! The Varnum Continentals' 2nd Annual Autumn Beer Tasting will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2011, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Varnum Memorial Armory, 6 Main St., East Greenwich, RI.
Proceeds benefit our efforts to preserve history, promote patriotism, and provide education to young people and adults alike. In partnership with The Savory Grape Wine Shop, this event will feature a wide range of artisan beers (from pilsners to porters) and light appetizers. Also, we will offer tours of the armory's world-class collection of military memorabilia and armaments.
Advance tickets are $20 per person. Tickets sold at the door on event night are $25 per person.
