Land Trust Days Activities Celebrate the Special “Green Places” in Our Community


Guided Trail Walks and Family Activities “Just Outside Your Door”


On September 22nd, 10am to 2pm at the Briggs-Boesch Farm (830 South Road), the East Greenwich Municipal Land Trust and Pat’s Pastured will hold a Celebration of Autumn – Service Project to highlight one of the special places in our community that is protected and open to the public.  This activity is part of RI Land Trust Days, when land trusts across the state are inviting individuals and families to explore the green places “just outside your door.”

Land Trust Days, sponsored by the East Greenwich Municipal Land Trust and other members of the RI Land Trust Council, is designed to let Rhode Islanders know about the very special places that land trusts are protecting in communites all across our state. Land Trust Days runs through September 30.  Everyone can participate in guided walks on trails and many other activities throughout the state. Many of the featured lands have historic and cultural points of interest in addition to their natural and scenic beauty.  Visit landtrustdays.org for more details about this activity and other Land Trust Days activities.
