You are invited to join the Town of East Greenwich, our Municipal Land Trust, and Pat's Pastured in a clean-up of that pastoral jewel known as Briggs-Boesch Farm. We will be on site at 830 South Road from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM doing improvement activities like field and brush clearing and planting bed and trail maintenance. Refreshments and supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own tools like gloves, rakes, clippers and garbage bags.
In addition to the activities at Boesch Farm, the Town is also sponsoring roadway litter cleanups as part of Earth Day. Clean-ups will take place Saturday April 21 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Individuals and organizations interested in cleaning up in the vicinity of Middle and Howland Roads should meet at the high school parking lot by 9 AM and those interested in cleaning up along the Waterfront should meet in the parking lot of Scalloptown Park by 9 AM. We appreciate your support! If you have any questions or would like to sign your group up to help, please call the Planning Department at 401-886-8645.
