The 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the East Greenwich Historic Preservation Society, will be held on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 10 am. This festive event will be held at the Thomas Casey Greene home at 40 Old Forge Road, Potowomut.
Children up to age 7 are invited to hunt for candy-filled eggs on the grounds of this historic home, the birthplace of Revolutionary War hero Nathaniel Greene.
There will be two divisions for the hunt, for younger and older children. The Easter Bunny is expected to appear for photo opportunities and the Preservation Society will provide collection bags and refreshments. The event is free, but donations are welcome.
