Fields Behind EGHS Torn Up by Car
Police said the damage occurred sometime on Thanksgiving eve.

Someone drove onto the grass and baseball field behind East Greenwich High School recently, police said, causing damage and leaving behind broken car parts.
Police said they were dispatched to the area behind the high school at around 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving day after a report of the crime and found tire marks on the grass, a tree that had been damaged by being struck by a vehicle and bits of plastic pieces nearby.
Police said the grass was torn up around the center island of the small turnaround behind the baseball field and there were tire tracks that went all the way around the baseball field as well.
