Police said they were called at around 5:30 p.m. for a report of two patrons that ate and left without paying. The couple, described as a younger man and woman, ran out the front door and got into a black PT Cruiser before leaving the scene.

Someone caught the license plate, which enabled police to identify the vehicle owner. That helped police identify the alleged diner, Dylan A. Titus, 23, of Pawtucket, who was reached by telephone by police and told he would no longer be welcome at the restaurant.
