Nancy Stephen Gallery and School of Art to host student art show on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Artwork from dozens of students of Nancy Scelsa will be for sale on Sunday, February 8 at the Nancy Stephen Gallery and School of Art at 6 King Street from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The sale is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and to support the efforts of Marcia Campbell, daughter of beloved art teacher Donna Campbell, who has joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. The elder Campbell, who teaches art at both the Nancy Stephen Gallery and OLM School, has been battling Lymphoma since last spring. Her daughter Marcia decided to train for the Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon in Washington, DC on March 13 in an effort to raise funds in her mom’s honor. Those who are unable to attend the show who may wish to contribute to Marcia’s cause may do so at http://pages.teamintraining.org/vtnt/rnrusa15/mcampbell
