In The Twitter Shadow (3 Companies You Didn't Hear About)

Twitter, Inc (TWTR) wasn’t the only company that made its initial public offering (IPO) this past Thursday. However, the three others that made their debut at the exact same time as Twitter did not have as much of a splash, or as much success.  (Twitter, Inc (TWTR) shares rose 73% by the end of the day.)

Norcraft Companies, Inc. (NCFT) also made its debut on Thursday, the company manufactures kitchen and bathroom cabinets, their IPO saw shares down 3.13% by the closing bell.

The Mavenir Systems, Inc. (MVNR) IPO ended the day down 4.5%, MVNR is a software-based telecommunication company. 

Midcoast Energy Partners LP (MEP) a firm in the business of processing natural gas, fell 3.28% in its IPO debut.
