This year on the 4th of July at 9pm there will be an Independence Day fireworks display free and open to the public!
It will be launched from the middle of EG Cove directly between Scallop Town Park in EG and Goddard State Park in Warwick. The display will last approximately 15 minutes.
The costs of this entire event including municipal police, fire, harbormaster, and EMT personnel support are being sponsored by the generosity of West Bay Dental and their owners Dr. Joanne Lewis and Dr. William Gordon http://westbaysmile.com

For best viewing from the EG side, the public is invited to walk east down Rocky Hollow Road from Main Street then south on Crompton Ave. to the shoreline of Scallop Town Park. Please note Crompton Ave. and the park will be closed to cars after 6pm without proper handicap identification. The boat launch parking lot of Goddard park will be the ideal vantage point for viewing from the Warwick side of the cove.
Fireworks should be visible from most areas of the Hill and Harbor section of EG as well as from water facing restaurants.
