Last Brown Bag Lunchtime Concert is Oct. 10

Yes, summer is already over. That means the final Brown Bag lunchtime concert is days away.

After a very rainy 2013, which caused a number of outdoor events on Main Street in East Greenwich to get soaked out or cancelled, 2014 was a banner year weather-wise.

Still, you might not have made it out to one of the Brown Bag lunchtime concerts on Friday afternoons on the lawn of Town Hall, smack dab in the middle of Main Street.

The good news is there’s still one more concert on Friday, Oct. 10 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Tables and chairs will be set up on the lawn so grab a sandwich from a local restaurant or deli or bring along a bag lunch. The free concert will feature the Caraher Brothers who will perform pop and rock music.

Brothers Justin and Paul Caraher have played music together since early youth growing up in Nashville. They now live in Rhode Island and have been touring consistently throughout the northeast region with additional shows in Nashville, Atlanta, and Chicago as well as shows in Virginia, North and South Carolina, and West Virginia. They have also appeared at various festivals like the Discover Festival in Burlington, Vermont, Mannerland in Mebane, North Carolina, and Summer Jam in Ithaca, New York.
