LOCAL BUSINESS CATERS TO TRAVELING WINE ENTHUSIASTS: The Savory Grape/The Savory Affair Launch Premier LI Wine Country Tour

East Greenwich, RI, October 18, 2017– The Savory Grape, the first RI-based wine company to develop wine and food experience tours in Napa Valley and Europe, is now giving Rhode Islanders a personalized, behind-the-scenes gourmet wine experience in Long Island's coveted North Fork area. The inaugural Long Island trip is April 24-28, 2018. Participants of The Savory Experience in Long Island will encounter a memorable boutique-styled tour during which they will sip, savor and socialize with the area’s elite winemakers, chefs and personal guides, with The Savory Grape/The Savory Affair’s founder and proprietor, Jessica Granatiero, and Food and Wine Educator, Tulay Lawton. One of its kind, the trip is limited to a maximum of 12-14 guests to maintain intimacy.

“Through our planned excursions and experiences in the U.S. and Europe, The Savory Experiences immerse Rhode Island wine lovers into the world of viticulture and gastronomy,” stated Granatiero. “Through our relationships and travel, our guests have the opportunity to meet, dine with and learn from the owners and winemakers themselves, something they can’t organize or plan on their own. We give them the inside experiences about traditions that go into winemaking and connect people and stories to enrich their understanding of wine.”

With VIP status, guests will explore the heart of Long Island's Wine Country, its quiet beauty, sprawling vineyards and the quaint seaside village of Greenport. From luxurious accommodations at the Harborfront Inn, the group will travel to vineyards, area farms and restaurants while delighting in one-of-a-kind culinary experiences.

The trip cost is $1,345 per person, double occupancy before November 1. After November 1 the cost is $1395. Reservations will be accepted through January 30, 2018.
