New Playground Dedicated at Rocky Hill School
Preschool playground dedicated with students running through a ribbon
Last Thursday, a new preschool playground was dedicated with a ribbon “run-through.” Students in the preschool at Rocky Hill School lined up and ran through the blue and white ribbons to formally open the new climbing structures, sandbox, and mulch area.
A special thanks go out to all of the donors and supporters of the new playground, especially Paula Santos and Kristin McCaughey, co-chairs of the 2015 Gala where funds were raised to purchase the equipment. Lisa Reimer, Mark Buckley, Todd de Wardener, and Lia Lehouiller ’90 were instrumental in making sure the very best playground equipment was available for our VIPs (very important preschoolers). Proceeds from the 2016 Fall Classic and 2017 Gala are also funding the installation and landscaping costs.

As Dr. Jim Tracy stated during the dedication:
“A healthy and active education for all of our students is a priority here at Rocky Hill School and we are so pleased to demonstrate this commitment in such a tangible way.”
