Pastor of Christ Church retires

Lyle Mook, who has been the pastor of Christ Church, 1025 Main St., East Greenwich, for the last 20, will be retiring from the pastorate as of June 11. There will be an open house, held at Cole Middle School, 100 Cedar Ave., East Greenwich, this Saturday, May 20, from 4-7pm. The community is invited to join in the fun as we reminisce, poke fun at, and enjoy music, food & fellowship with Lyle & Mary Mook! Although Lyle will be retiring as pastor, he will continue as a part time chaplain at South County Hospital, as well as teaching a course on Biblical Studies at URI. Lyle's last Sunday at Christ Church will be June 11.
