Police Hope to ID Suspects in East Greenwich Arson Attempt
Two suspects tried to set a Frenchtown Road home on fire and police have released surveillance images in the hopes of tracking them down.
East Greenwich police have released images taken from a security camera that show two suspects who allegedly tried to set a Frenchtown Road house on fire on Nov. 29.
Police are hoping that someone can help them identify the suspects, who threw an unknown accelerant onto the garage door at 861 Frenchtown Road, ignited the fire and ran away.
The fire did not spread very far, causing minor damage to the garage, and the security images are poor quality but police said “we are looking for any information possible including identifying the blurry insignia on the back of the suspect’s jacket.”
