Race to Benefit Brain Injury Association Goes Off Oct. 16 in Goddard Park

EAST GREENWICH, RI -- Sponsors are still needed for "On the Move," a 5K race Oct. 16 in Goddard Memorial State Park, according to the Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island.

Runners, joggers and walkers can participate, and there are prizes for the fastest man and woman in several different age categories.

Check-in is 9 a.m. at the Carousel. Runners do enjoy a head start. They go off at 10 a.m., while the joggers and walkers wait an extra half hour. Register online or by mail.
