Rocky Hill Students Jump For Heart Association

Lower School students raise nearly $5,000 for the American Heart Association.

The Lower School at Rocky Hill School enjoyed a heart workout last week with a variety of jump rope events, as students in grades K-5 and their teachers participated in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraising event for the American Heart Association. There were several jump rope games and activities, with prizes awarded to the longest jumper, “freeze jumping”, fanciest jumping, and Double Dutch jumping.

Donna Tringali, a representative from the American Heart Association, accepted the school community’s donation of $4,829.12. In turn, Donna awarded the School a banner acknowledging the students’ generosity and praised them for making a healthy heart difference in their lives and the lives of others.

Rocky Hill School has partnered with the American Heart Association every year since 2000.
