On Sunday, April 12th, the Savory Affair will escort and host a limited number of patrons for a behind-the-scenes tour of the picturesque Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, CT. While on site, visitors will learn the art of pasta making and enjoy a 3-course lunch from award-winning restaurant Gracie’s and Ellie’s Bakery.

“Give a gift that keeps giving,” stated Jessica Granatiero, owner of The Savory Affair and local wine shop favorite The Savory Grape. “Not only will they be excited to receive the tickets, they will appreciate knowing that there is an amazing, delicious light at the end of the snowy, winter tunnel. Not to mention, buying two tickets in order to spend the day together is a romantic gesture that will not be forgotten.”

· Round-trip transportation provided by Arrow Prestige. (The group will depart at 10 AM from a location in East Greenwich & return there by 4:30 PM.)

· You’ll then arrive at 11 AM at the winery where the group will be welcomed to this idyllic setting with a glass of wine. Then visit the barrel room with Chef Manny of Gracie’s where you’ll learn the art of making pasta, specifically Cavatelli, through a live demonstration.

· In the barrel room, enjoy a three course lunch from Gracie’s including a salad, Cavatelli dish and sweet treats from Gracie’s sister company, Ellie’s Bakery.

Jonathan Edwards Winery is located in North Stonington, CT and for provides a unique experience for wine lovers because it grows grapes on its Connecticut property as well as makes wine from their vineyards in California.

Gracie’s is Providence’s only AAA four-diamond award winning restaurant with a simple motto of “enhance and educate the palate with the freshest ingredients and flavors.” Selected from more than 15,000 restaurants nationwide, Gracie’s has earned a spot on OpenTable’s “Top 100 Restaurant List” three years in a row.
