Summer Arts & Festival Organization “Race to the Stage” Concert at The Odeum

East Greenwich, RI—April, 2017 — Music lovers will enjoy the East Greenwich Summer Arts & Festival Organization’s (SAFO) competition, Race to the Stage. Race to the Stage is being held at the East Greenwich Odeum Theatre on May 7. An expert panel of judges will select three acts earning the distinction of performing in front of thousands at the Summer’s End Concert on September 1, 2017 at Eldredge Field.

The Odeum’s doors will open at 2:00 PM and the show starts promptly at 3:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance, $15 on the day of at: http://www.greenwichodeum.com/2016/05/07/summers-end/.

The East Greenwich Summer’s End concert is brought to you by the Summer Arts & Festival Organization, a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music and the arts to the East Greenwich community since 1996. SAFO was started by a small group of East Greenwich residents who thought that it would be a great idea to celebrate summer’s end in East Greenwich with an event that would bring our community together to enjoy one last event before heading back to school and work in the autumn. Summer’s End is attended by thousands of East Greenwich residents each year, and it has truly become a signature event for the town. In addition to the annual concert, SAFO sponsors education and enrichment activities in art and music throughout the year including scholarships and other programs that bring art and music to members of our community.
