Team Match Winners of New England hail from Warwick

The Fred Astaire Dance Studios of New England just hosted their annual dance Extravaganza at the Mystic Marriott in Mystic, CT. With Fred Astaire Dance Studios from all over New England participating for the First Place Trophy there was ballroom dancing and costumes galore.

The event was themed in the 80s with many costumes and decorations in the spirit. The judging panel awarded scores to all participants on each dance they participated in and all the scores were tallied up per participating studio.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Warwick was represented by numerous students and staff and entered in the Competition as well. With beginner and advanced students participating in both Smooth and Rhythm Ballroom Dance Divisions, the Warwick Studio ended up Waltzing and Swinging their way to winning the Top Studio for the Event and taking home the First Place Trophy.
