Treasures of the RISD Museum

The Friends of the East Greenwich Library will present "Treasures of the RISD Museum," on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m.


East Greenwich, RI: The Friends of the East Greenwich Library will present "Treasures of the RISD Museum," on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. In the Silverman Gallery of the Library. Led by Museum docents, this armchair tour of selected highlights from what has been called "a jewel of a Museum," will offer guests a visual panorama of favorite pieces within the Museum's collection. The hour-long event includes questions and discussion. This program, which provides a snapshot view of the treasures inside the Museum, will appeal to those curious about art and the artistic process, as well as long-time Art lovers. The event is free an open to the public, refreshments will be available during the presentation. The Friends of East Greenwich Free Library are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing library services.
