World's First Ever "Obstaplunge" in RI!
The "Frozen Clam Dip" at Goddard Park will feature Inaugural Obstacle Course Plunge on New Year's Day!

The RI Mentoring Partnership and its community partner Laid-back Fitness are proud to announce Rhode Island’s (and perhaps the world’s) first-ever Obstaplunge! It’s a new and exciting addition to our annual New Year’s Day fundraiser “The Frozen Clam Dip.”
Participants will have the choice of a traditional plunge or they can add to the challenge by completing a ¼-mile obstacle course that finishes by joining the traditional plungers in the icy water. The course will be made up of 2 natural and 4 man-made obstacles that will be doable for all ages and abilities.
All proceeds will go to support youth mentoring in Rhode Island through the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership!
