8th Annual Homeless Memorial Service and Luncheon Honoring the Homeless

Join the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless in honoring and remembering those who have passed on the streets while homeless during the year of 2015. The 8th Annual Homeless Memorial Service and Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, January 27th 2016 at St. Michael’s Church located at 239 Oxford Street, Providence, RI. The service will begin at 11am sharp.
The event includes a religious service, prayer, reflection, and a reading of names before candles will be lighted in honor of those deceased. After the hour service, guests will enjoy a hot meal catered by AMOS House at the luncheon. There are handicap accommodations for those in need.
Join us in celebrating the strength and spirit of our brothers and sisters that have passed from our daily lives in 2015.

Since 1988, the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless is organized to promote and preserve the dignity and quality of life for men, women, and children by pursuing comprehensive and cooperative solutions to the problems of housing and homelessness. This mission is accomplished through advocacy, education, collaboration, technical assistance, and selected direct services to homeless individuals and families, coalition members, elected officials, and the community-at-large.
