Andrea Santo, RN, named wellness director of EPOCH Assisted Living on Blackstone Boulevard

EPOCH Assisted Living on Blackstone Boulevard has named Andrea Santo, RN, of Somerset, Mass., the community’s wellness director. Santo will lead the community’s team of nurses and nursing assistants and oversee the development of individualized care plans for each resident.

Santo brings more than 25 years of experience in senior care to EPOCH, beginning her nursing career as a certified nursing assistant in 1989 at an assisted living community in Middletown, R.I. Since then, Santo has managed nursing teams for a number of organizations. She previously served as patient care nurse manager in homecare, hospice and palliative care. Most recently, she served as resident care director for an area senior living provider, where she ensured resident care followed State and Federal standards.

“Andrea is an exceptional Wellness Director,” EPOCH Campus Administrator Matthew Weinstock said. “She is highly skilled, compassionate and smart. We’re thrilled to welcome her to our team.”

Santo earned her nursing degree from Bristol Community College. She is OASIS and Chronic Care Management certified.
