Angelina E. Avila, 77

Angelina E. Avila, of Lyon Avenue, East Providence, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was 77.

She was the wife of the late Eduino G. Avila. She was born in Praia do Norte, Faial, Azores, a daughter of the late Joao and Maria Andrade.

Calling hours are today, Dec. 27, from 4 to 8 pm at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence.

She leaves two daughters, Maria A. Feid of East Providence and Elzira A. Rajotte of Virginia Beach; two sons, Roger A. Avila of North Kingstown and Alexander A. Avila of East Providence; a brother, Frank B. Andrade of Ontario; a sister, Isaltina Andrade of Ontario; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Maria Silveira.

Avila worked for the Davol Rubber Company before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, East Providence.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, at 9 am from Perry-McStay with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter St. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
