BAY VIEW ACADEMY SAILING TEAM TAPS INTO COMMUNITY SPIRIT TO HELP RAISE FUNDS

East Providence, RI –  The Bay View Academy Sailing Team tapped into the spirit of community and utilized local resources to raise money in support of their team. They hosted a Dough Rai$er™ event at UNO Pizzeria & Grille in Warwick, RI and raised $263. “Dough Raising” is an UNO initiative to give back to local non-profits. The company allows non-profits to host events at their locations and donates 20% of the sales from the event guests. Bay View students also secured donations for prize baskets and then raffled them during their Dough Rai$er™, contributing another $280 to their fundraising total of $543.
