East Providence, RI – Julia (Jia) Wessen, (Barrington, RI) a senior at Bay View Academy, recently has had her original artwork featured as the cover design for Rhode Island Creative Magazine. Jia has been interning with Rhode Island Creative Magazine since March through Bay View’s School to Career program. School to Career is a unique program at Bay View that began in 1973 as a means to provide seniors with professional work experience. Each senior secures her own internship and then reports to work every Wednesday during the fourth quarter instead of attending classes.
