Stock up for summer reading at the Books by the Bag Sale at Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence from Monday, April 24 to Sunday, April 30 during library hours. Fill up plastic bags that are provided for only $2 a bagful. Five large double-sided cases of books feature novels as well as books on history, sports, health, business, finance, art, music, home improvement, cooking and many other topics. Also featured are children's and young adult books, paperback romance and fiction and VHS tapes. The Books by the Bag Sale is sponsored by the Friends of the East Providence Public Library. All proceeds enhance community programs offered by the library.
