THE CHILDREN'S MUSICAL "BUGZ" as presented by Ms. Meehan's First Graders at SAINT LUKES SCHOOL was just delightful and much more than I could have hoped for... The production of BUGZ I just got to enjoy was just amazing in every way... with fantastic 5 star scenery, individually made (by parents) costumes, each child donning the enthusiasm of a broadway starlet as they danced and sang their way through each and every individual line; all perfectly remembered. Such a truly wonderful undertaking at this early stage of education... and all at the hands of a small gathering of caring and loving folks who put their heart and soul into what they do with the students.

Saint Lukes School, which is tucked away in the off-the-beaten path part of West Barrington, RI... looks exactly like the jewel that it is... seeing this wonderful musical... with both early and later performances played to a full house of parents and grand parents and each grade level as well... this so clearly demonstrated what is now all-too-often lacking in the public schools today ... and s alive and well at S.L.S. which just seems to put an extra serving of love and devotion into everything they do with their students.

From the very top, the (soon to be retired) principal, Maureen Janetta and down through the ranks of the administration with director of development, Neil Kiely, and every faculty member, and staff professional alike, S.L.S. offers children (pre-school-8th grade) a wonderful curriculum, supported by the enthusiastic teaching styles of its educators and child-loving caregivers. It's a great place, and I love reminding myself of exactly why I transferred my own (soon to be) 5th grader from public school into the loving arms of S.L.S.

The Musical 'BUGZ" served as a perfect metaphor of what delightful things should be a part of every child's life... and is in abundance at S.L.S.
