Arcangelo Federico Harrington- Marinosci exhibits work at L’Artisan Café & Bakery
Harrington-Marinosci has a collection of drawings and tempera paint expressionistic paintings on canvas on show at the L’Artisan Café and Bakery, at 9 WAYLAND Square in Providence’s historic East Side… on view for the remainder of the summer. The Café’s hours are 6AM-10PM and offers great coffee and delicious deli-delights and baked goods.
“Arca” started painting and drawing and taking pictures at about one year old and also plays on several musical instruments, has danced Jazz and Tap and has been a part of several recitals. He is now ten years old and attends Saint Luke’s School in Barrington, RI. He loves to read, meditate and tell jokes and funny stories. He has a heart of joy and he is my son and the center of my universe. These works represent his infancy and early boyhood.

He is a good student who loves to read, and loves his new school, teachers and classmates. He also enjoys playing chess, attending art openings, swimming at the Y, going to the beach and spending time with his loved ones and pets. Arca has been working on illustrations for a children’s book for more than two years, along with the author, Danielle Lilly-Marinosci. He began painting with watercolors, and markers and chalks and crayons and eventually graduated to acrylic paint… soon he will be working with oils, when his development is at the right point.
Though Arcangelo started with “abstract expressionism” in a very natural way, he has moved more towards representative art…and familiar themes to a painter. He likes drawing and painting most things, and has received very little instruction, except for his dance classes. Most of his music, like his painting and drawing, is unabridged, unbridled and free-verse. He has also written a number of songs and stories. Having transferred from public school midyear, last year, he looks forward to entering the fifth grade, at the his new school, Saint Lukes… which he is delighted to attend, and where it seems all good things are possible.
