Committee Narrows Interim Superintendent Candidate Field

A hiring panel of the East Providence School Department may have their candidate as early as the end of the day. 

According to Charles Tsonos, school committee chairman and member of the search committee, three individuals were interviewed last night and two more are expected to be vetted Friday afternoon. 

"This afternoon's session will complete the interviews," he said on Friday, adding a swift decision is anticipated. "The school year is about to begin."
