A Rumford company that produces wood pellets used in stoves remains closed after a sparks ingited on a conveyer belt on Monday afternoon, according to reports from the East Providence Fire Department. Firefighters were able to contain the fire at <a href="http://www.infernowoodpellet.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Inferno Wood Pellet</a> that traveled to a storage area. Five workers were displaced from the Ferris Avenue location; no injuries were reported. "We try to avoid a dust explosion," Captain Oscar Elmasian said. The business is working with fire department personnel to reopen within the next few days.
