Two Delway Avenue residents got into a fight after a woman found onion-like weeds on her property.

East Providence Police advised two neighbors to stop fighting after one allegedly threw lawn rubbish on another's property.
According to reports, police responded to Delway Avenue on Wednesday, May 2, to find a man and woman involved in a verbal altercation. The woman allegedly found "tuberous weeds" that looked like wild onions on her property. She then reportedly threw the weeds on a neighbor's lawn, with some landing on a shed roof.
The two neighbors then allegedly got into the argument; the male neighbor reportedly used profanity in front of young children. Officers then told the residents to ignore each other.

According to the report the neighbors have allegedly been involved in disputes for over 15 years; police have responded to the area numerous times.
No one involved in the incident was charged, reads reports.
