Friday, July 4 at 2 p.m., EPOCH Assisted Living on the East Side will welcome
Dr. Steven Kane for a discussion on Louis Armstrong, big band and more. Music
fans are welcome to discuss the life and legacy of the influential jazz
trumpeter and singer from New Orleans. Dr. Kane is a
psychotherapist and part-time professor of anthropology at the University of
Rhode Island and Rhode Island College. He is a popular lecturer in the
community and speaks frequently at EPOCH. This presentation is free and open to
