Drive-By Shooting on Summit Street
5 or 6 shots reportedly fired into a Summit Street home early Sunday morning, according to the East Providence police.
A drive-by shooting was reported in East Providence early Sunday morning. No none was hurt.
East Providence police reported that 5 or 6 bullets were fired into a single-family home at 134 Summit St. at about 2:30 am, according to the Providence Journal. None of the bullets appeared to have penetrated the interior of the house, according to Lt. Raymond Blinn.

The shots reportedly came from a dark-colored vehicle, Blinn said. The house is near Cross Street in the City Hall neighborhood.
Police had not released the name of the home’s owner or any other details as of mid-afternoon.
