One passenger was taken to the hospital by after a black vehicle struck a white car driving along Roger Williams Avenue late Thursday night. According to Lt. Craig Fornier, the car that caused the accident was driving a "high rate of speed" and lost control while rounding a curve.  The passenger was taken to the hospital to make sure there were no injuries.
