East Providence Blood Drive June 23

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Grieco Automotive Group, Rhode Island Blood Center and Lamar Advertising are teaming to hold a blood drive.

The blood drive will held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Lamar Advertising, 360 Warrent Ave. in Providence.

"Blood shortages affect patients of all ages — from trauma victims to those undergoing surgery or cancer treatment," according to a media release. "This blood drive represents an opportunity for our neighbors, friends, and colleagues to make a life-saving difference in just a single hour."

“At Grieco Automotive Group, we believe in driving our community forward — and that starts with taking care of one another," Robert Grieco of Grieco Automotive Group said in the release. "We are honored to join Rhode Island Blood Center and Lamar Advertising in hosting this vital event. We encourage everyone in the East Providence area to roll up their sleeves and help save lives.”

All donors who participate will receive a coupon for a free Jersey Mike’s sub, while supplies last, as well as a $10 gift card.
