East Providence Senior Center Offers Daily Call for Residents
The East Providence Senior Center announces that it is offering a free daily call for their elderly population.

The East Providence Senior Center announces a free new service to our community. This free public service provided by the Senior Center is a communication system implemented to assist our elderly population by providing a daily call to the phone number of the subscribers choice at a predetermined time. The automatic call will come at the time selected and once the phone is picked up by the subscriber, the system is notified and your call is completed for the day. If the call is not picked up, the automatic system will call again. In the event that the call is not picked up on the second attempt, the Senior Center will be notified and a follow up call will be placed to another person on file such as a child or sibling.
This service is designed as an alert system to aid communication with our residents on a daily basis as a way of prompting notice of health concerns and needs. In the event of a health emergency, the Daily Call can serve as a key form of communication which can prompt immediate attention potentially assisting a health concern.
