An East Providence woman was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly stabbing and robbing her neighbor following an argument.Darlene Defeo, 52, is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon inside a dwelling and armed robbery, police said.Defeo reportedly stabbed her 58-year-old neighbor multiple times at around 11:30 p.m.The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.Police said the incident occurred at the Tall Oaks apartment complex on New Road and Defeo stole $200 before climbing through a window.
