An elderly driver ran into the Taunton Avenue late Wednesday morning, according to reports from the East Providence Fire Department. According to Fire Chief Joseph Klucznik, the driver was a 90-year-old female from Seekonk, Mass. She sustained minor abrasions and may have a face fracture. She was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.  The exterior of the building sustained minor damage. Bank patrons stopped to look at divet of mulch next to a sidewalk and plastic car parts strewn nearby.  Managers at the bank branch refrained from commenting on the accident.
