EP Woman Dies in Wampanoag Trail Crash

East Providence police have identified the woman who died in a rollover accident on Wampanoag Trail Wednesday morning as Leslie Logan, 63, of East Providence.

WPRI reported that Logan was an elementary school teacher in the city for 35 years. She retired in 2008.

The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. Firefighters cut off the roof of Logan’s car to free her from the vehicle.

Logan was alone in her car. The single-car crash is still under investigation.

The cause of death has also not been determined.
