The East Providence Local Advisory Committee For Special Education (EPLAC) is a committee comprised of parents of children with disabilities along with administrators, teachers and others with a concern for our children. We meet throughout the school year to share information and concerns regarding educational issues.

This month EPLAC hosted the eighth annual Recognition Awards Reception where individuals were recognized for providing consistently outstanding services for Special Education students, especially in the area of inclusion.
EPLAC thanks all of them for their hard work, and dedication to special needs students in the East Providence School Department.
