Got Books?

Books are wanted for the Spring Book Sale at Weaver Library in April.

Weaver Library welcomes them! The Friends of the East Providence Public Library are collecting books for their Spring Book Sale, scheduled for April 20 to 23, at Weaver Library. Proceeds from the sale will benefit library programs, including museum passes and special concerts and events.

Hardcover, softcover and pocket-size paperback books in gently used condition are wanted. Books should have bindings intact and be free of writing, highlighting, tears, water stains or mildew. Especially in demand are non-fiction books on art, cooking, crafts, history, home and garden, music, religion, science and sports. Oversize and vintage books are needed for our Special Selections section. Music CDs and movie DVDs are also welcome

Items to donate should be delivered in a bag, box or container during library hours to the circulation desk at Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence or Riverside Library, 475 Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside. Donated books should not be placed in the book drop. Questions? Call the library at 401-434-2453.
