Lauren Yany appointed Community Liaison at Wingate Residences on the East Side

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Wingate Residences on the East Side has named Lauren Yany community liaison to the assisted living residence. Yany joins Wingate to support efforts in community outreach, as well as cultivating and maintaining professional relationships between community-based healthcare partners and Wingate.

“Lauren brings great energy and enthusiasm to our community,” East Side’s Marketing Director Beth McCrae said. “Her positive attitude and experience in the senior living industry will make her very successful in this community outreach role. We are excited to have her be a part of our team.”

Prior to joining East Side, Yany completed an internship with the Rhode Island Assisted Living Association (RIALA), during which she researched the effectiveness of oxygen therapy in assisted living communities. In addition to her research, Yany supported RIALA’s marketing efforts.

Yany received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rhode Island College, where she held numerous leadership roles with Theta Phi Alpha, including Recruitment Chair and Public Relations Chairman. Yany is involved with fundraising for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association, and serves on the board of the American Marketing Association.
