Mackenzie Melemed to perform at Wingate Residences on the East Side

Wingate Residences on the East Side will welcome classical pianist Mackenzie Melemed for a performance on Tuesday, June 7 at 2 p.m. A child prodigy, Melemed has been widely praised for his talent and won First Prize at the 18th International Hamamatsu Piano Academy Competition in Japan. Melemed has been playing piano since age four and began classical training at age 10 with Olga Rogach. He has given more than 600 concerts for senior living communities, charitable organizations and schools. He performed for President Bush in 2004 and subsequently performed at the White House Holiday Open House for five consecutive years. This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
