Man Allegedly Loses Checks in Vegas, Threatens Bank Employee

The man allegedly became enraged after the Sovereign Bank employee told the 45-year-old man he would be charged a fee for the service.

A man calling from Las Vegas, NV, allegedly threated to kill a employee on Friday, Feb. 24, after he lost checks and wanted to stop their payment.

After the employee told the 45-year-old man he would be charged a fee for the service, he allegedly became enraged and said he was going to kill her two times and swore before hanging up the phone.

The employee reported the incident to at approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24. She told police she was not in fear; it is company policy to report threats.
